We did the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes trek in Nepal in April 2023 in partnership with Kathmandu-based trekking agency Himalayan Masters. We trekked with guide, Govinda Rai, and porter, Prakas Tamang. It was part of a longer trek through the Khumbu region on the Everest Three Passes trail. Cho La is the lowest of the Three Passes at 5368 m and it connects Everest Base Camp with the stunning Gokyo Lakes.
