EDUCATION SHOULD BE LIBERATION — NOT JUST INSTRUCTION

EDUCATION SHOULD BE LIBERATION — NOT JUST INSTRUCTION Are we truly educating our children—or are we simply teaching them how to follow instructions? There’s a major difference between education and instruction. Instruction can teach you to memorize, follow directions, pass a test, graduate, get a job, and repeat the process. But liberating education teaches you how to THINK. In this episode of CutZ & Opinions — The Talk Show, DocZac challenges parents, educators, mentors, and young people to rethink what education is supposed to accomplish. Our children need more than information. They need critical thinking, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, technology, communication skills, history, emotional intelligence, ownership, creativity, and problem-solving. We shouldn’t just prepare children to become employees. We should prepare them to become thinkers, creators, builders, leaders, entrepreneurs, and owners. And parents—we can’t put the entire responsibility on the school system. The home is the first classroom. Mom, Dad, grandparents, mentors, and community elders are teachers too. If something important isn’t being taught at school, we have a responsibility to teach it at home and in our communities. The goal shouldn’t be to tell young people what to think. The goal should be to teach them HOW to think. 🔥 Build the Mind.
