We play Finnish, Russian and Karelian folk music, as well as contemporary compositions. We also try to introduce kantele into foreign cultures (North America and Far East) by using kantele as accompaniment for traditional cultural performances (i.e. dance) in recipient countries. Our project is supported by the Karelia CBC Programme (https://kareliacbc.fi/), which is funded by the European Union, Finland and the Russian Federation.
