Experience the final day of Indra Jatra 2083 in Kathmandu — the spectacular Nanichaya Jatra, featuring the chariots of Kumari, Ganesh and Bhairav. On the final day, women traditionally pull the three chariots through the historic streets of Kathmandu. The procession follows the Nanichaya route from Basantapur through Pyaphal, Yatkha, Naradevi, Kilagal, Bhedasing, Indra Chowk and Makhan before returning to Basantapur. This video captures the atmosphere of the final procession — the sacred chariots, traditional music, crowded streets, Lakhey, Pulu Kisi, Dashavatar and other cultural traditions associated with Indra Jatra. One of the most intense moments is the arrival of the chariots through the crowded streets around Asan, where the narrow streets and massive gathering create an especially thrilling atmosphere.
