Revenge: The Consort's Secret Gambit

When the emperor leaves for war, a sharp-witted imperial consort must outmaneuver a treasonous noble clan, uncover a royal kidnapping, and reclaim her husband's stolen memories to save the dynasty from collapse. When Emperor Xiao departs to lead his armies against a rebel invasion, he entrusts the Imperial Seal to his most trusted consort, Su Wan'er. But the palace is a nest of vipers: Consort Murong, daughter of the powerful Prime Minister, covets the throne for her family, while the Empress Dowager suffers from mysterious bouts of memory loss that leave the court vulnerable. Wan'er's investigation into a suspicious maid leads her to a forgotten well in the Cold Palace, where she uncovers evidence of a missing princess and a secret tunnel used by Murong's private assassins. Teaming up with the enigmatic Regent Lu Jingyuan, Wan'er exposes a plot involving poisoned incense and treasonous letters. Just as she gathers irrefutable proof of the Murong clan's betrayal, Emperor Xiao returns from war—but with no memory of Wan'er, he falls under Murong's spell and orders Wan'er's imprisonment. Facing execution and her husband's cold stare, Wan'er must choose between revealing the Regent's deep feelings for her to gain his full support or preserving her loyalty to the amnesiac Emperor. In a heart-stopping courtroom confrontation, she presents the evidence of the kidnapping and treason, shattering Murong's facade. As the Emperor's memories flood back, Wan'er is crowned Empress not just by title, but by the weight of her sacrifice—forever binding her fate to a man who once forgot her existence. #CDrama #HistoricalRomance #PalaceIntrigue #PoliticalThriller #ImperialDrama #FemaleEmpowerment #StrongFemaleLead #Revenge #AmnesiaArc #HiddenIdentity #PowerCouple #SecretHeir
