Deep Creek Lake Run Sept 2026

Filmed: September 15th, 2026 I take the Sky RL up to Deep Creek Lake on a nice fall day to revisit the area after 8 years away. One of favorite places to visit in my home state. After an interstate drive on I-68 west past Cumberland, MD we reach the large lake in western Maryland. I have been visiting this place since the 1980's. Just a day trip drive in the western Maryland countryside. Our first stop is Swallow Falls SP for walk and photo shoot session. Muddy Creek Falls drops 53 feet before running into the Youghiogheny River. We then return to the Lake for a short drive along the shoreline. We then drive to the Wisp Ski area to visit some of recreational faculties available during the summer months, before the winter ski season gets under way. Before heading home - I visit Archie's BBQ for lunch. However, after Labor Day they go to limited hours during the weekend only. Thanks for watching LAC Films 2026.
