The International Day of Peace

To mark the International Day of Peace, young participants in the “Roots and Extension” initiative, part of the JRS Youth Empowerment Programme, brought white roses and messages of peace to people in Al-Sakhour and other neighbourhoods of Aleppo, Syria. Imagined, planned, and carried out by the young people themselves, the initiative created simple encounters filled with love, smiles, and hope for peace.
