I'm actually very fond of the latest lineup from Alfa Romeo. The Guilia was a car that impressed me all round, and I loved the way it did things a bit differently to it's German rivals. The Stelvio is really a continuation of that mindset, and it's fair to say Alfa Romeo have done a fantastic job throughout with it. This to me, seems like a very sensible choice, if you do happen to find yourself needing an SUV.
