In this lesson, Scott Sharrard shows you how to play a Memphis-style guitar groove - something that he picked up listening to Willie Mitchell's Hi Records artists of the 1970s. Al Green, Ann Peebles, and the Hi Rhythm Section were performers that inspired and employed grooves like this one. This specific guitar groove can be heard on Al Green's "Love and Happiness."
