MIDDLE EARTH MUSICAL SOUND | ORTHANC | The Tower of Isengard

All roads led to the center of the plain, between rows of chains. There stood a tower of wondrous form. It had been created by the builders of old, the same who polished the Ring of Isengard, and yet it seemed not the work of men, but born from the very bone of the earth... That tower was Orthanc, the citadel of Saruman, whose name had a double meaning; in Elvish, Orthanc meant Fang Mountain, but in the ancient tongue of the Mark, it meant Cunning Spirit. J.R.R.
