2026 St Clair River Float Down | Port Huron, Michigan

The 2026 St Clair River Float Down! This annual event starts off at Lighthouse Beach at the foot of Lake Huron, in Port Huron, Michigan. From there the swift current carries the floaters on their tubes, rafts, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and other inflatables onto the St. Clair River, under the Blue Water Bridge and 8 miles downstream to Chrysler Beach in Marysville, Michigan. Reportedly around 1,350 people participated in this year's event, and you'll see a heavy Coast Guard and law enforcement presence in the air and on the water, from both the US and Canada, working to ensure everybody remains safe on the fast-moving deep-water river.
