Oars are rising, sails are calling, And the Viking ship moves on. Built from oak by hands of winter, Carved beneath the northern sky, Dragon watching from the bowhead, Ravens circling high above. Every plank has heard a story, Every rope has known the storm, From the fjords of ancient Norway To the shores beyond the dawn. Hear the rhythm of the oars now, Hear the cold Atlantic roar, There are unknown lands before us, There is no returning shore. Sail on, Viking longship, sail on, Through the thunder, through the foam.
