Nathan Carter singing 'Home to Donegal' live at 'Cut Loose Music Festival' on July 16, 2023

Donegal's best known and sung Anthem - Home to Donegal was written by Inishowen signer songwriter Patsy Cavanagh. The Proud Donegal man writes about everyday life in a style that people identify with and his songs are in much demand by top Irish performers many of whom regard him as a "master wordsmith". Patsy has had more than 100 covers of his songs recorded by various artists such as Daniel O'Donnell, Mick Flavin & Band, Big Tom and Margo. Here is Nathan Carter performing his version live at the 2023 'Cut Loose' Music Festival held in Holycross, Co. Tipperary
