Benefits of Slow Gaming

There are many ways to play video games, and while there is no wrong way to play, there are some game styles suited more for some individuals over others. It has happened to me countless times not to have the energy or be in the mood of playing a game because I was playing it "wrongly"; more precisely I was looking at games like to do lists rather than adventures. When I learned about slow gaming I was a bit skeptical, but when I started to implementing it in games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom, Civilization VI, and Formula 1, I started to appreciate those games more. And note that slow gaming can be applied to virtually all singleplayer games, not only to titles like Animal Crossing and Eurotruck, but also Starfield, Elder Ring, and many more.
