Sepe is a traditional way of fishing practiced by the Nyishi community of Arunachal Pradesh. This Sepe was prepared over the river by the villagers of Keko Village in Pakke Kessang District. It is a traditional method in which no explosives or chemicals are used for fishing. Sepe is not only about catching fish. Its construction brings villagers together, encouraging unity, teamwork and community participation. Fishing in the Pakke River is banned, but according to the villagers, this traditional community fishing is carried out once a year after a collective decision by the village community. Through this video, I am sharing a glimpse of the traditional knowledge, culture and community spirit of the Nyishi people of Arunachal Pradesh. 📍 Keko Village, Pakke Kessang District, Arunachal Pradesh #Sepe #NyishiCommunity #TraditionalFishing #PakkeKessang #ArunachalPradesh #TribalCulture #FrontierTrailsWithKG
