As long as you keep it safe, it will grant you any food, drink, or wealth you desire. But if it breaks, all your fortune will vanish, and you will return to utter ruin." ​With the magical pot in his possession, the young man’s fortunes reversed overnight. He regained his luxurious lifestyle, surrounded himself with fine clothes, food, and wine, and spent his days in endless celebration. ​One day, completely intoxicated and swollen with pride, he began dancing recklessly in the courtyard. Desperate to show off to his companions, he tossed the precious Bhaddaghaṭa into the air, attempting to catch it like an acrobat. Misjudging his balance, the pot slipped through his drunken fingers, struck the stone pavement, and shattered into pieces. ​The moment the vessel broke, all the magical luxuries vanished. Deprived of his source of wealth, the foolish man returned instantly to absolute poverty, ending his life as a destitute beggar.
