Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne: The Flight | Hard Undead 02 Gameplay

🛡️ Legacy of the Damned is the Scourge Campaign in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Wrestling control over the Scourge from a trio of dreadlords (Varimathras, Detheroc, and Balnazzar), the self-appointed King Arthas begins to solidify his hold over his homeland by wiping out the last remnants of humanity from it. During the battle, the death knight experiences agonizing pain and weakness, accompanied by a warning from the Lich King about grave danger. Arthas realizes that he has to leave for Northrend as soon as possible, yet his departure is interrupted by a massive insurgency among the Scourge ranks sparked by the three dreadlords. With the Lich King's grasp over the undead growing weaker, Sylvanas Windrunner regains her free will and betrays Arthas, yet he still manages to leave the continent. Sylvanas coerces Varimathras to join her cause and eventually defeats his two brothers, gaining control over the former Capital City of Lordaeron, establishing herself as the leader of the liberated Undead, who would thenceforth be known as the Forsaken. Meanwhile in Northrend, Arthas discovers that Illidan Stormrage's forces, consisting of blood elves and naga, are trying to reach Icecrown and destroy the Lich King. With the help of Anub'arak, the death knight passes through the shattered kingdom of Azjol-Nerub and reaches the glacier in time to defeat Illidan and save the Lich King. Arthas then shatters the Frozen Throne and puts on the Helm of Domination, thus becoming the new Lich King. The Flight from Lordaeron is chapter 2 of the Legacy of the Damned campaign.
