Vodacom must make a new offer to ‘Please Call Me’ inventor

Vodacom has been ordered to make a new offer to ‘Please Call Me’ inventor Nkosana Makate. The Supreme Court of Appeal says the telecom giant’s R47 million offer is invalid and has given Vodacom 30 days to determine a suitable new offer. In September last year, Vodacom also suffered a loss when the Pretoria High Court dismissed its variation application. Makate discusses the ruling further with Xolani Mbanjwa.
