How to see the best of Chicago in 48 hours

I’m Rebecca. This is where I’m going. A whirlwind 48 hours in Chicago with my family. This Chicago travel vlog and Chicago family vlog follows our weekend itinerary through the Magnificent Mile, from arrival to Navy Pier fireworks and Centennial Wheel ride. We drove in from Stratford Canada, checked into our hotel Aloft near the Magnificent Mile, and kicked off the trip with dinner with friends at RL Restaurant. Saturday started with a walk to breakfast at The Gauge, followed by a Chicago architecture tour through the Architecture Centre of Chicago. On our walk back to the hotel we stopped at Eataly to pick up our picnic dinner before heading to Millennium Park for a concert in the park, at the end of the show we hopped on a bike rickshaw for an exciting ride along the Chicago lakefront to Navy Pier for the free summer fireworks, and capped off the night on the Chicago Centennial Ferris wheel.
