Yes - South Side of the Sky bass cover

I covered Roundabout last time and since Fragile is my favorite record right now, here's my second-favorite song on the album and what I consider to be Yes' most metal song ever: "South Side of the Sky". This has always been a huge favorite of mine ever since I first heard it with its heavy, burly deathmarch verses and the really eerie lyrics, atmosphere, and note choices that convey such a dark and bleak tone, yet there's still that beautiful middle section and my single favorite hands-down most amazing piano part ever there, too. It's just an awesome song. The original bass line was played by Chris Squire (R.I.P.), one of my favorite bassists, and I've followed his line almost exactly here. I add in my own little thing towards the end, but that's because, you know, I couldn't resist. Song kicks in at about 0:19 My setup on this one includes an 80s Charvel CSM-2B PJ bass with Geezer Butler signature EMG pickups with DR Black Beauty strings through a Genz Benz Contour 500 amp. I have the P pickup soloed and my amp settings have the mids and highs pretty high, and the bass cut a tad. I'm using a Herco Flex 75 bass pick, which is the only pick I ever use on bass.
