Trains At Lewes | 29/07/22 ECL

In this video, I visit small East Sussex town of Lewes, to see a couple of freight trains. Lewes is a Southern only operated station, and it has 5 platforms. Open on October 8th 1846, Lewes Railway Station first opened as Friars Walk, which was a terminus station at the time, but in November 1857 a new station was built and the old one closed down. The station was rebuilt in 1889, and then became known as Lewes. Station code for the station is LWS. Please hit the like button and subcribe to the channel if you haven't already.
