Tacoma Shackle Hanger Kit Install (2016–2023) | DRT Fabrication Install Guide

In this video, I walk you step-by-step through the installation of the DRT Fabrication Shackle Hanger Kit on my 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma (2016–2023). This is a big structural/suspension upgrade for Tacoma owners looking to reinforce a known weak point in the rear frame, especially for off-road use, overlanding, towing, and heavy suspension setups. The shackle hanger plays a major role in rear suspension geometry and frame integrity, and upgrading it with the DRT Fabrication kit provides increased strength, durability, and long-term reliability compared to the factory components. In this install guide, I break down the full process, tools required, fitment details, and tips to make the install as smooth as possible for DIY Tacoma owners. This install is shown on a 3rd generation Toyota Tacoma (2016–2023), but the concepts and process are helpful for anyone upgrading their rear suspension components or reinforcing their frame for aggressive off-road use. 🔧 Products Used in This Video: DRT Fabrication Shackle Hanger Kit - https://drt-fabrication.com/products/...
