🇪🇸the final stop on our journey through Northern Spain 🌻🏡✨ Our journey through beautiful Cantabria comes to an end in the charming town of Comillas, one of the most beautiful places on Spain’s northern coast. 🇪🇸🌊 While exploring Comillas, we also discovered one of its most striking landmarks – the Ángel Exterminador (Exterminating Angel), an impressive angel overlooking the sea from the historic cemetery. 👼🌊 Created by sculptor Josep Llimona, the angel symbolizes death and the passage from earthly life into eternity, creating a powerful and almost mystical scene above the Cantabrian Sea. The highlight of our visit was the incredible El Capricho de Gaudí, one of the earliest and most unusual works of the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. 🏡🎨 At first sight, the house amazes with its vibrant colors, sunflower-covered ceramic tiles 🌻, distinctive tower, and beautiful details inspired by nature. Every corner reveals something new and showcases Gaudí’s extraordinary imagination, which would later define some of his most famous works in Barcelona. After exploring the mountains of Picos de Europa, the old villages of Cantabria, Potes, Orbaneja del Castillo, Santo Toribio de Liébana, and the beautiful coast of Northern Spain, Comillas and El Capricho were the perfect way to end our journey. ❤️🇪🇸 Goodbye Spain… until our next adventure! 🇪🇸❤️🌍✈️ 💬 Have you ever visited Comillas or El Capricho?
