In this video, I restore an old rusty pocket knife and give it a completely new look using a very unusual material — a 100-year-old animal bone! I found this bone while exploring the remains of a World War I soldier's dugout in a forest in Ukraine. It had been buried in the ground for over a century, surrounded by old bottles, cans, and other wartime artifacts. When I cut the bone open, I discovered something unexpected — remains of old bone marrow and a colony of ants that had made it their home! After cleaning and carefully shaping the bone, I turned it into beautiful new handle scales. Once polished, the bone revealed a smooth, creamy surface that almost looks like marble. The rusty blade and metal parts were carefully restored, polished, and reassembled to bring this forgotten pocket knife back to life. What was once discarded more than a century ago has now become part of a beautiful restored knife. Did I manage to turn this old rusty knife into something beautiful?
