THANATOCRACY Five tracks. Five faces of death. Thanatocracy is a five-track old-school death metal EP centered on death, violence, manipulation and humanity's capacity for destruction. The record approaches these subjects from different perspectives: humanity's relationship with its own world, the destruction of independent thought, murderous obsession, the experience of the forgotten, dead, and scientific progress turned toward warfare. The recurring idea across the record is not death as spectacle, but the machinery that makes death possible: Hatred, deception, obedience, indifference, power and ingenuity without moral restraint. At its core, Thanatocracy asks what happens when humanity loses its capacity for morality. THE HADEAN INVASION Humanity's destructive relationship with its own world. GENOCIDE Manipulation, deception and the destruction of independent thought. CLEAVER CALL Murderous obsession and the psychological descent into violence.
