Is the X-40 Actually Worth It? | Ace Combat 8

The X-40 sits at the very end of the aircraft tree in Ace Combat 8 and looks like everything you’d expect from an endgame superplane. But after testing it extensively on Ace difficulty, I’m not convinced it actually feels like one. In this video, I break down the X-40’s design, handling, Special Weapons, dual-SPW setup and how it performs in harder missions like Mission 15 and Mission 28. I also compare it with other high-end aircraft including the Su-57, FA-36, F-22 and F-35C to see whether the X-40 is actually worth the investment. The aircraft itself is fast, capable and absolutely incredible to look at — but its loadout might be the thing holding it back.
