CAE Racing Ultra Shifter installation on a Porsche 911 (997.1) GT3

This week we fit a CAE Racing Ultra Shifter to our in-house Porsche 911 (997.1) GT3 for faster and easier shifting and more motorsport look inside. The CAE Racing Ultra Shifter replaces the factory shift mechanism. The CAE Shifter design creates a smaller shift travel back, forwards, left and right, this allows for faster and more precise shifting. The shift nob is also raised, bringing it closer to the steering wheel. This means that when you are shifting on track or on the street you take your hand off of the wheel for less time, resulting in faster and safer shifting. The look of the CAE Racing Ultra Shifter can be customised too, the shift nobs come in a range of POM, aluminium or suede and are available in many colours to suit your taste. The CAE Racing Ultra Shifter itself can come in Silver or Black. Optionally available and highly recommended are the CAE Racing Heavy Duty Shift Cables. These shift cables are much firmer which improves the shift feel and the steel heads replace the failure-prone factory ones. Improving shift feel and reliability.
