Summer Days Around Fostoria Ohio June 2026 FT CPKC, CSX 1871, NS and more

For over 15 years, I have always loved going to Fostoria Ohio to view trains. Nicknamed the Iron Triangle, this is where the super busy CSX Willard Sub (Former Baltimore and Ohio) crosses the Norfolk Southern Fostoria District (Former Nickel Plate Road) and the CSX Columbus Sub (former Chesapeake and Ohio). It may not be the 100 trains a day it was 10 years ago, but it still sees around 70 or more trains a day from the three routes combined. I took two visits in early June here, one to shoot the Union Pacific 4014 which I will provide in a different video since its such a famous train and a week later for a few hours myself after work. You may hear some talking, my buddies from Livonia were tagging along with me and lets just say they were very impressive with the amount of action we saw. Anyways, enjoy this nearly one hour look at one of the midwest's busiest railroad spots. The former B&O station, Bloomdale OH. poplar street, and the C&O/NKP diamonds will be heavily featured.
