Windrose | Sea Shanties

Complete collection of all the sea shanties available in the Windrose demo. Some of these I really loved and couldn't find a complete playlist of them all so I just recorded one myself. Enjoy. I did my best to identify the real life titles to these shanties, though the lyrics of some of the songs don't line up almost at all with their real world counterparts. Also, the closed captioning lyrics are hand-typed, which, took a lot longer than you might think. The auto-generated ones sucked, so I used a combination of the traditional lyrics and my own ear to put together what I think is a pretty reasonable set of lyrics of each song. If you notice and glaring issues with the lyrics or captions, please let me know. Apparently some people think they were created with AI. According to the Devs, they are not. To quote the Dev, Yar_master : "The vocals were recorded live by Sean Dagher, an amazing artist and a shantyman in AC Black Flag. We were humbled to work with Sean on our shanties. The music was done in house by our audio engineer, who is also a multi instrumentalist and active live performer. It is not AI, matey. Cheers. " So if you thought they sounded oddly similar to Black Flag, the reason is because they where performed by the same artist, not AI.
