What We Learned From Truck Camping In The EPIC Lofoten Islands

Join us as we take our Rossmönster overland truck on an unforgettable journey to Norway’s breathtaking Lofoten Islands! This week’s adventure begins with a scenic ferry ride across crystal-blue waters, delivering us straight into one of the most stunning landscapes on Earth. We set up camp in pristine Arctic nature, surrounded by towering peaks, turquoise bays, and quiet fishing villages. Our basecamp becomes the launchpad for one of the most iconic hikes in Norway — Reinebringen — a climb of nearly 2,000 stone steps to a panoramic view you’ll never forget. Along the way, we share our truck camping tips, overlanding gear setup, and how we explore as a family in remote places. Whether you’re into off-grid camping, 4x4 adventures, or discovering epic road trip destinations, this video captures the spirit of overlanding in the far north. From winding coastal roads to remote campsites under the midnight sun, the Lofoten Islands deliver scenery and adventure in equal measure.
