Glimpses of Leh Dosmoche festival

2-day Leh Dosmoche festival begins from today. Monks of Lamayuru monastery perform Mask dance in the historical courtyard of Leh Palace. Monks of Dakthok Monastery prepare the Dose every year and this tradition continues even today. Locals and tourists in large numbers gathers at Leh Palace to witness the festival. The festival is being organised by Leh Phudho Cultural Welfare society. Chief Secretary of UT Ladakh Ashish Kundra also joins the festival as chief guest. ADDC Sonam Norbo, SSP Leh Shree Ram, Apex Body Co-chairman Chering Dorjay and former MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal also attended the festival.
