WIP-n-Chat 9: 12 Things I'm Doing to Prep for the MEGA DRILL CHALLENGE 2027 While Kitting Up

270,000 drills. 110 colors. One canvas that barely fits on my bed, much less my desk. The Mega Drill Challenge 2027 is coming, and I'm not walking into it unprepared. Here's everything I'm doing to get ready, from the practical to the slightly emotional. The 12: 1. Joining the Facebook group 2. Buying a high quality kit: poured glue, resin drills, and lots of colors 3. Upgrading my desk 4. Upgrading my tools: trays, clamp holders, and my light board 5. Special washi tape 6. Testing putty, tape, and wax alternatives 7. Practicing on smaller canvases to level up my technique 8. Upgrading my storage 9. Building a progress tracker 10. Making a game plan 11. Sunday Funday reward kits for hitting my weekly drilling goals 12. Acceptance. Nothing is perfect and this won't be either, and that's okay. My canvas A custom I designed myself from a photo taken by my partner, made by JJBling666, who actually works at the factory. 112.5 x 150 cm, 450 x 600 drills, roughly 270,000 of them. 110 DMC colors, square drills, and 12 specialty drills she added for free. It's a Christmas present for 2027, which gives me a year, and I'm going to need every day of it. About the Mega Drill Challenge 2027 Hosted by Shannon, Queen Mother Confetti Queen.
