You genuinely want to do what's right—yet there are areas where you still experience a battle. Romans 7 talks about that battle. Paul openly describes the conflict between knowing what is right and struggling against the power of sin. But he doesn't leave us trapped in frustration. He asks: “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” And then comes the answer: “I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!” — Romans 7:24–25 (NKJV) Tonight we're talking about the struggle, the cycle, the power of sin, the purpose of God's law, conviction versus condemnation, and why willpower alone cannot produce spiritual transformation.
