CFNR 501 Los Banos Job Switching In Westley, CA | Grayson Rd. Railroad Crossing

Nov 26, 2024 8:58am While getting past the train after it stopped at the Westley Yard, I had enough time to setup before they pulled forward to the crossing in the first switching move of this job here in Westley. I decided to film the switching move from this side so that I can get the Westley Historic Water Tower that was used for steam engines of the SP back then and was a station back when this was a SP route that connected all the way to the main line now UP Fresno Sub down in Fresno. The CFNR stops here every weekday run to switch cars before continuing south to Los Banos and other jobs while on the way after here. I filmed the other side with the last switching move at the end and also in a seperate video for the departure south in the next video from the other side since I haven't got a complete video of that side as last time, a truck pulled the gate off.
