SwissCityMarathon Lucerne 2026 | Smashed my Half Marathon PB, then cooked my quads! 🇨🇭🏃‍♂️

First-half glory vs. second-half survival! 💥 I took on the stunning SwissCityMarathon in Lucerne along the lake. I decided to push the pace early and actually ended up smashing my Half Marathon personal best with a 1:31:15 split at the halfway mark. However, paying the price for that aggressive early speed didn't take long. By kilometer 30, my quads were completely cooked, turning the final stretch into a brutal mental battle.
