Checking out the Montgomery KONE escalator at 1800 Argyle Downtown Halifax Nova Scotia

It has been a while since I got to ride this escalator until a few months now since in 2024, the escalator was out a service for some repairs, that was needed, & this connects the pedway system in the heart of downtown Halifax (the centre of all the action) in order to access this building while the escalator was out of service, you had to walk outside a few steps on the street from Scotia Square. The escalator was decommissioned for almost 1.5 years when I saw the escalator shut off in September 2023 to mid February. Before the escalator had some loud noises with the motor, until now, the escalator isn’t as noisy as before, a few steps rattle when coming down, but nothing too major Filmed on May 2, 2025 at 7:48PM (Near Scotiabank Centre)
