Roberts RP28 transistor radio fault finding and repair

I suspected that someone had reversed the polarity as a lot of the more modern Roberts radios use a 9v DC power supply with a negative centre pin. A lot of off the shelf power supplies are positive centre pins. Reversing the polarity will kill one of these dead!
