MIS Celebrates 60 Years!

On Saturday, September 19th, over 700 members of the MIS community joined together to celebrate our school's 60th birthday. The event was the first opportunity for Ben Figgis, our Head of School to address our parent community with a kick-off speech at 12:00. Along with Mr. Figgis, local government authority Landrat Stefan Frey and MIS parent Michael Gerlich participated in a tree-planting ceremony in front of the FAB. After the formalities of the event were attended to, the party really got started with a live band playing the best hits of the 60s, a 60s catwalk, and of course, a big birthday cake! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and to the organizers, departments, and teams behind the scenes who made it all possible.
