Star Trek Into Darkness - Main Theme (Cover)

This is an orchestral cover of the main theme from the motion picture ‘Star Trek Into Darkness.’ It stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yeltsin, Bruce Greenwood, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, & Benedict Cumberbatch. The original score was composed by Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, Jurassic World, Spiderman: Far From Home) with Alexander Courage's original theme towards the end. This is one of the best scores I’ve heard, plus I’m a huge ’trekkie' & had to give it a try. I focused on not just playing chords; but learning how every instrument was played. It took about 2 weeks from start to finish; listening to every detail and trying to get all the parts right-the trills, rips, choir vibratos, even some of the bow changes. I did this all one my 4GB MacBook Air with a huge lift from EastWest Composer Cloud thanks guys); all by ear, and all in MIDI.
