👻 Why Was This 800-Year-Old Church Abandoned?
Welcome to another investigation with HARPS Paranormal.
This time, we travel to the peaceful village of Ayot St Lawrence, Hertfordshire, where two churches stand just a few hundred metres apart—but centuries apart in history.
The Old St Lawrence Church dates back to the 13th century and remained at the heart of the village for hundreds of years before being abandoned when a brand-new church was built nearby. Today, its ancient ruins remain surrounded by history, mystery and stories of unexplained paranormal activity.
In this investigation, we explore both the Old St Lawrence Church and the New St Lawrence Church, uncovering their fascinating history before conducting a full paranormal investigation using our evidence-led approach.
Throughout the evening we experience unusual moments, unexplained sounds and intriguing responses that leave us asking one question...
Did something remain behind when the village moved?
At HARPS Paranormal, we don't fake evidence or exaggerate our findings. Our goal is simple: investigate some of Britain's most haunted locations with an open mind, letting you decide what is truly paranormal.
