"The Secret Life of the Zoo" is a family-focused, obs-doc series that takes a round-the-clock, intimate peek over the fences, into the cages and under the treetops at one of Britain's most popular zoos. Chester Zoo is home to 20,000 animals, from 500 different species, has 700 employees and welcomes 1.4 million visitors each year. “The Secret Life of the Zoo” manages to document births, deaths, health problems, parenting, mating and significantly, the close relationship that many of the animals have with their keepers. From a giraffe baby dropping six feet through the air as it's born - to tigers moving house - to a pregnant viper being x-rayed, viewers will get an exclusive front row seat to these rites of passage and see a whole new, hidden side to zoos. #TheSecretLifeoftheZoo #ZooAnimals #WildlifeConservation
