OpenBVE Wacky - DB Class 481 on the MARTA Red Line

DB Class 481 on the MARTA Red Line, from North Springs to Lindburgh (N11 to N6). The Class 481 has been in service since 1996, replacing the older rolling stock which had been in service since the pre-war days, such as the Class ET-125. The train runs on the Berlin S-Bahn routes. It is also known as the Class 482. Both the Berlin S-Bahn and MARTA share the same 1,435 mm track gauge. Only cab & railfanning views are included as the train doesn't have an interior, but better than nothing. Trivia, -The route & destination display boards on both ends of the train display S9 and BER T1-2 next to a plane symbol. BER stands for Berlin Brandenburg Airport, which opened in 2020 and replaced Tegel Airport. -The Red Line used to be known as the North-South Line, similar to the SMRT one (hence why both route runs use the same NS abbreviation route bullet seen on the top right corner). It was renamed to the Red Line in 2009. The short run from North Springs to Lindburgh actually does operate as a shuttle service from the evening and late night hours between 8:30 PM to 1 AM daily before the metro system closes for the night. The shuttle service does not run on weekends when it runs as a full service instead. Next up is Part 390 of The Best of Railfanning, Plane Spotting, and Many More series.
