Oleksandr Hrustevych performs Johann Pachelbel’s Chaconne in F Minor live in concert at the 51st PIF International Accordion Festival in Castelfidardo, Italy, 2026. Born in 1983, Oleksandr Khrustevych began playing the bayan at just 6 years old and graduated from Ukraine’s National Academy of Music under Professor Besfamilnov. Considered one of the finest bayanists in the world, he gained international recognition through a viral YouTube performance of Vivaldi’s “Summer” from The Four Seasons, transforming a bayan transcription of a work originally written for violin and orchestra into a global phenomenon. He has performed extensively throughout Poland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Brazil and beyond, and has shared the stage with legendary musician Bobby McFerrin before a sold-out audience of three thousand in Kyiv.
