From there, a visit to the beautifully preserved Gao Family Mansion, a rare glimpse into the private world of a prosperous Tang dynasty merchant family. And finally, Tang Paradise, an extraordinary lakeside park built around the grandeur of Tang culture and architecture. Furong Lake, the temples, the walkways, the sheer scale of it all.
