We are just a few hours from "Mahalaya" which marks the start of "Devi Paksha", leading to Durga Puja the biggest and most celebrated festival for Bengalis all over the world. We wait for this time of the year to celebrate the homecoming of Maa Durga and her children. For me, Durga Pujo is not just a festival, it’s an emotion. But, things are different this year, where our lives have been hit by the pandemic. Along with this deadly disease, in California, we are currently facing wild-fire rage which has limited our outdoor activity also. Let's come together and pray to Maa Durga for our safety, happiness, and prosperity in these difficult times. In the video, I am performing Devi Suktam "Aham Rudre" in a semi-classical dance form.
