Diana Ross - If We Hold On Together (July 25, 2025 - Hollywood Bowl)

Diana Ross sang her classic children's classic "If We Hold On Together," that was originally recorded for the 1988 film, "The Land Before Time." It has since become a classic and a staple of her current tour. It's a gorgeous ballad that become a worldwide phenomenon. Everywhere, except her home country, who still had her on their imaginary blacklist. There were a couple of factors why, which Diana Ross fans, have their theories; but since the beginning of the 2000's, attitudes on Ms Ross began to sway into the other direction. It may have been because everyone loves to see a phoenix rise above the ashes, which is where Diana Ross seemed to have been in the late 90's. With the death of the love of her life, the "Return to Love" fiasco, and both the airport security and the drunken driver arrests, I think the American public cried out, enough is enough. Ms Ross return to the limelight of the American spotlight was slow and steady. First came the glowing reviews of her "I Love You" tour, then came the accolades, the Grammy lifetime awards for a soloist and as a member of the Supremes, TV Land's "Most Memorable Performance" award, BET's and American Music Lifetime awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Kennedy Center Honors and more!! She is now a certified Legendary Icon. She may be an international artist, but America has not abandoned her. This song is a true testament that if we hold on together...I know our dream will never die. Dreams see us through to forever...
