Sanchore Assembly Area की राजनीति में इन दिनों एक बड़ा उबाल देखने को मिल रहा है। Jalore जिले का यह इलाका अब विकास के मुद्दों से ज्यादा Jhab और Bhadruna के बीच की खींचतान के लिए चर्चा में है। असली लड़ाई Panchayat Samiti के गठन को लेकर है। एक तरफ Independent MLA Jivaram Choudhary हैं जो Bhadruna को Panchayat Samiti बनाना चाहते हैं। वहीं दूसरी तरफ BJP District Vice President Mahendra Singh Jhab अपनी ही सरकार के खिलाफ धरने पर बैठ गए हैं। Jhab का इतिहास काफी पुराना और गौरवशाली रहा है। यहाँ 1971 से Senior School, 1975 से Police Station और 1980 से Hospital जैसी सुविधाएं मौजूद हैं। Jhab में PG College, Marudhara Gramin Bank और Sanchore Lift Canal का Command Area भी आता है। आंकड़ों की बात करें तो 16th Assembly Election में Jhab से BJP को 30 percent vote मिले थे जबकि Bhadruna से सिर्फ 7.88 percent वोट ही आए। अब सवाल यह है कि क्या Rajasthan Government और BJP Organization जनता की मांग को सुनेगी?
