why I'm printing photos instead of buying more storage

I recently returned from my fourth trip to Norway, where I attended the Oslo Street Photography Festival for the first time. I came home with hundreds of photographs, but a few weeks later I found myself printing tiny photos, saving ticket stubs, cutting up paper, and gluing everything into a notebook. In this video, I explore why I wanted to document this trip beyond photographs, what I discovered about photo journaling and tangible memories, and why revisiting an experience can sometimes feel like travelling through it a second time. Along the way, I talk about the ordinary things that became meaningful: festival wristbands, hotel keycard holders, brochures, boarding passes and folded maps. And why I've started to see these little pieces of ephemera differently. I also share how making these pages has reminded me of something I already believe about photography and creativity: you don't have to make something perfect.
