Aymantium - Mountain -A- (full album)

Aymantium is a multifaceted experimental/alternative project from Morocco, whose sole member is Ayman and which often blends metal together with explorations in the noise, ambient, electronics and folk realms, alongside many more. I'm not usually into stoner metal these days, but I can still respect a good stoner-ish album if done with the right mindset. Mountain A started as a drone metal/stoner-doom album, which set out to be the heaviest in Aymantium's discography, inspired by classics like stoner-doom anti-heroes Electric Wizard. During the recording process, though, stranger influences started to creep into the album, making the end result, yes, a drone metal album, but a very diverse one, often merging or alterning the heavy riffs with noise, guitar noodling and sampled conversational chaos.
