Notes – Episode #67: The evolving battlefield has challenged the manner in which we conduct sustainment operations; especially that last mile of logistics. Thus, to support the Transformation in Contact initiative, a new formation, a light support battalion (LSB) has been created to replace the brigade support battalion (BSB) concept.
